Join me on my spring girls trip to vibrant Morocco. Be immersed in the beautiful colors and energy of Marrakech, ride camels and camp in the Agafay Desert and explore the port town of Essaouira. This trip is focused on beautiful interior design, shopping, good food, and art. There is plenty of free time scheduled for you to go discover everything you want to see on the trip as well.
The temperatures will range from 50’s/60’s at night up to 70’s/80’s in the day.
There is a large amount of walking on this itinerary including lots of stairs in the riads and restaurants.
*if you are going to share a room with someone, please keep in mind privacy in the rooms is limited. Some bathrooms only have curtain doors or occasionally no door at all.
Day 1 : Arrival to Marrakech
Welcome to Morocco! Arrive at the airport RAK in Marrakech and transfer to your riad to meet your fellow travelers at a welcome dinner at the riad.
Welcome dinner with the group included. Airport transfer included.
Day 2 : Marrakech city
In the morning we meet with our local guide and set off on a morning tour of a palace and the old medina to help you get familiar with your surroundings. We will relax in a garden and then visit a spice shop to learn about local oils and spices. Later that evening we will meet up for a group dinner on rooftop with views of Marrakech.

Day 3 : Marrakech city
Explore Marrakech at your own rhythm in the morning, I can show you where all my favorite shops are. After lunch we are visiting a Cooperative of Rugs to learn about different regions and traditional weaving. At the Cooperative you will find beautiful handmade rugs of all shapes, sized and colors for purchase. Shipping home can easily be arranged here. After, we will enjoy drinks on a rooftop followed by dinner.

Day 4 : Marrakech – Agafay Desert
The morning is free to explore further or shop in the winding bazaar. After lunch we then hit the road for a picturesque hour-long drive out of Marrakech to the desert. The Agafay desert, unlike the Sahara, is composed of rocks. Prior to our arrival we will set off for a camel ride before we come back to our tents/huts for our dinner with live entertainment and camp fire under the stars.

Day 5 : Agafay desert – Essaouira City
We will leave before lunch for a 4 hr drive to the coast and Essaouira. (there will be stops along the way for food)
Essaouira is a colourful fishing town with great markets to shop at and beautiful beaches. Upon arrival you can head out and explore on your own.

Day 6 : Essaouira
Relax and enjoy an invigorating hammam scrub + massage (included) after, spend more time exploring the medina, art galleries and shops. That evening join the group for an optional activity at the beach, watching the sun go down with food and drinks.

Day 7 : Essaouira
Free day for last minute shopping and exploring the art galleries of Essaouira. Group dinner.

Day 8 : Essaouira – Marrakech
After breakfast we take a 3 hr drive back to Marrakech for our last evening and recall our amazing adventure at the farewell dinner. But before dinner let’s go get tattoos… if you want!

Day 9 : Flight back home
Say goodbye to Morocco and your new friends. Transportation will be provided to the airport RAK
